I have reached the age of an innate appreciation for the gift of another day on the planet. 2025 is my 62nd spin around the moon and the energy surrounding it feels exciting versus prior years. I wrote out a few simple intentions for myself this morning and made certain that I resonate with all of them. I skipped the "pie in the sky" type declarations that many set for themselves. Most of those ambitious and unrealistic commitments will fall by the wayside before the month of January ends.
In the United States we are about to embark upon new governmental leadership. Despite the promise of upheaval of many traditional institutions, I can't help but feel a sense of excitement for change. Perhaps, we should all take a look at our own lives and decide where we can improve in our own experience. This morning, I welcomed this new year with an open mind. I know that it will be one filled with wonder and opportunity for love, peace and happiness.
My only advice to you for making this a great year is to embrace the change and find the gift in all things, people and experiences you are fortunate enough to encounter.
